What we collect when you visit or contact us.
This notice covers website-visitor and enquirer data on weavesight.com. How we handle a client's modelling data (where we act as a processor) is covered separately in our data-handling & security note. WeaveSight is the controller for the visitor data described here.
The minimum to run the site and reply to you.
When you visit
- Server / hosting logs — IP address, browser/user-agent, pages requested and timestamps, kept by our static host (Cloudflare Pages) for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts — the site loads fonts from Google's servers, so your IP address and user-agent are disclosed to Google when fonts are fetched. We use no analytics, advertising pixels, trackers, cookies or local storage.
When you contact us
- Our calls-to-action open your email client to hello@weavesight.com. If you send it, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include — typically company, role, budget range and where you heard about us.
- We use this only to respond and assess fit. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in replying to your enquiry (and steps toward a possible contract).
We don't sell your data, and you stay in control.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site and our email (e.g. hosting/CDN, email provider, and Google for fonts). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. A current sub-processor list is available on request.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept while we're in contact and for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted on request. Hosting logs follow the host's standard short retention.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (incl. the AU Privacy Act / APPs and, where relevant, GDPR), you can request access, correction, deletion, or object to processing. Email hello@weavesight.com.
Transparency on the product, and where the processor line sits.
- Automated decision-making: WeaveSight's product produces automated, customer-level recommendations — but on a client's data, under the client's instructions, where the client is the controller. It does not make automated decisions about visitors to this website.
- Client modelling data: we receive only a pseudonymised extract with no direct identifiers and act as a processor under a DPA. Details: data-handling & security note.
- Honest status: this notice is designed to align with the AU Privacy Act / APPs and GDPR principles; it is not a blanket compliance claim. We confirm specifics with a registered legal adviser as the business grows.
Ask us anything about your data.
Email us and we'll answer, share our sub-processor list, and action any access/deletion request.
